Works Great June 20, 2009 Peter Getti (Gainesville, GA USA) 12 out of 16 found this review helpful
I just got this panel. Put it out in the Georgia sun, and its putting out over 22 volts. As with everything I get from Amazon, it came on time and in perfect condition. So far I'm very happy.
Pleasantly Surprised February 12, 2010 J. Peterson (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok folks I will have to admit, this is one foreign made product that surprised me once it was in place. I store a portable welder in an area where there is no electricity. I had entertained the idea of running electricity to that shed for years, but saw this solar panel advertised at a reasonable price and thought 'what the heck'. The battery on my welder is old and I figured no way this thing is gonna keep it charged. Well I was wrong. Not only does the Coleman Solar Charger keep it charged, but it has a VERY strong charge and I haven't had those iritating booster cables out since I installed the charger. I plan to purchase one or two more of these to maintain my jet ski as well as boat.
Good goods June 21, 2010 Steven Crooks (Clyde, NY United States) Product arrived safe and sound, instructions were clear, product seems to work as advertised and was at a sane price. Necessary bits were included. The regulator is capable of handling more load than this unit can provide so one may be able to add another unit into the mix.
THIS IS A MISPRINT !! ACTUALLY MORE WATTS July 17, 2008 Mike2020 (LAX) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
This Coleman unit is rated at 600ma and a total power of 9 Watts. Buyers will be pleasantly surprised. The fair price for weatherproof solar panels is $10/watt...so this one qualifies although has been discontinued. My lack of a full five stars is because Coleman seems to overrate their panels by about 20%...or else they take it down to the equator to measure the power.
Solar Panel April 18, 2007 J. POLLARD (Memphis, TN) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
The unit is more or less what I expected and appears to be working well for my application as a trickle charger for my deep-cycle marine battery operating an ornamental iorn entry gate. This unit DOES NOT work with the Sunsei Solar Grip bracket which is listed as working with the Coleman Solar Panels (both are ICP Solar products); the bracket extexsions are not long enough. I was able to frabricate a simple clamp for the panel which did work with the bracket however.
