Plenty of power to power a 13 inch crt TV in my semi truck with just a cigarette lighter plug.Only drawback is at startup my truck must be running to turn the TV on.After that it has plenty of power and i can turn off the engine.Perhaps i have to hook it up directly to the batteries to get more power ,which i will be doing with the supplied cable

I purchased this product to blow up an air mattress while out camping at Cook Forest, PA. It worked fine with the two large air mattresses. It does state to not use it to charge devices such as cell phones. I used it for my cell phone and it did charge it but the phone started to act up a little. The phone is working fine now so I'm not sure if the problem came from the inverter or not.

ok,..well this is my first day with it, if i have problems later on i guess ill have to update this review but so far heres what we have.
Construction is pretty solid, well made all aluminium housing.
right now im using this and a 12v batter to power my cable modem, router, skype phone and Laptop (Asus EEE 901). Hooked up to a battery tender it seems to be going strong for an hour now.
(im using a 12v SLA 12AH)
The cooling fan KICKS MASSIVE amounts of air..its a strong gust of wind coming out of this thing. Of course its noisy, these inverters are not supposed to be left on all the time so its perfectly understandable. and hey...having a super fan inside this thing will keep heat down..and heat kills. So its the price you have to pay for having something that you wish to function for years and years.
i woudl recommend this to everyone
UPDATE, i am now using a 12 Volt 245 Ah...
thats right i said 245 AH battery...this thing with the right power inverter has the juice to power a PC for a VERY long time.
Maybe ill buy that Cobra 3000watt power inverter next and see what that can do with this battery..

Took this on a camping trip so I could blow up an air mattress and it worked fine. For low power use (<150W), just plug into 12v outlet in the car. For >150W, you have to connect it directly to the battery with the supplied clips. Worked perfectly. Small, light, not bothered about any fan noise there might be.
